Brazen Edwards is a versatile artist that grew up in Edmonton, Alberta Canada and as a child it became apparent that she had the innate aptitude for drawing so was mentored in numerous classes at the Edmonton Art Gallery where she was eventually encouraged to attend high school at the newly developed Victoria School of Performing and Visual Arts. There she was able to hone her talents by receiving formal training in fine art, set design and construction.
She later enrolled in the BA Criminology Program at the University of Alberta and was given special permission to take Art Fundamentals as a component of her degree and concentrated on painting, printmaking, sculpture and drawing.
