Judith Mueller is a visual artist based in Kelowna, British Columbia whose works are sculptural installations, paintings and fiber art. Her works explore the relationship between people and their environment and the definitions and labels we create in order to fit in.
Judith uses colour as a form of expression to define the different components that comprise the whole. If we would approach the whole without judgement, we would then step into a no point of view universe and the importance or significance of whether it was green or blue would no longer exist. It is often in our society that these definitions are then misapplied and misidentified as the labels that this reality uses in order to make us fit in or to place limitations upon us. If we could see each individual colour and rejoice in the individual capacities they represent, we would create oneness and be in total allowance of their uniqueness and the contribution that they are.
